Grows a deep black sheath with many curved leaves that form a fine rosette. Produces a bright red inflorescence, with blackish purple and white tipped flowers. Tillandsia punctulata is native to Central America (Belize, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama) and Mexico.

Water: Soak upside down in a bowl of water or place under faucet under saturated. Shake out excess moisture from base and leave upside down to dry out. Water weekly.
